A functional beverage is a non-alcoholic drink that contains non-traditional ingredients such as herbs, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, caffeine, fibres as well as other ingredients. The combination provides consumers with specific health benefits – stamina, energy boost, relaxation, revitalization, enhanced immune system, etc. But it should be noted, that just as with other foods and beverages, the key to healthy consumption is variety and moderation.
Active representation of the industry’s position to achieve responsible public policy in all three Baltic States.
Legislative monitoring and timely alerts on matters related to functional drinks.
Provision of the industry’s news, positions and commitments to the media and the relevant stakeholders.
